Hampton Inn Sault Ste Marie

Outstanding Service and Exceptional Staff! As a longtime Hilton Honors member, I always seek out Hilton properties when I travel. I recently stayed at the Hiampton Inn, Sault Ste. Marie Michigan for business, and I was thoroughly impressed. The manager, Khaled (Kal) , and the entire front office team were incredibly accommodating and attentive to our specific needs. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. We have stayed at this property twice now, and each experience has been consistently excellent. The staff creates an amazing, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel valued as a guest. I can’t say enough about how personable and dedicated everyone was during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on future visits. Personal & Business Anne was extremely exceptional and accommodating and leaving Lexie made the check out seamless! Thank you to the entire team for making our trips so memorable!

It is a ten minute drive out of town. There are a couple of restaurants nearby little more seem to be downtown. The shower grout needed attention.

After an extremely unfortunate situation left us stranded at 9 p.m. without a place to stay, the Hampton Inn came to our rescue. The staff was absolutely incredible—especially the night desk attendant, who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His kindness and genuine concern for guests truly stood out and turned a stressful night into a positive experience. On top of that, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The shower was hands-down the best I’ve ever had at any hotel—and I’ve stayed in quite a few! We were so grateful to find such a wonderful place and such caring staff when we needed it most. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

My sons and I are in the midst of taking a Michigan road trip. It is no secret that the UP is not exactly home to lux hotels. Given that, I did so much research to ensure I picked out places that I felt comfortable in and that were clean. We were pleasantly surprised upon pulling up (grounds well maintained). The lobby smelled so clean when I walked in the Customer Service Assoc. at the front was super kind and helpful. Our room felt modern and updated, from the bathroom to the front furnishings, and most important, clean. And when I say clean, I mean super clean! It is a rare day that I'm comfortable not wearing shoes in a hotel but it is literally so clean, I am sitting here without socks or shoes on at the moment. Kudos to the housekeeping team! We are in and out so we won't have an opportunity to take advantage of most of the amenities but we sure appreciated having a hospitable, updated and clean place to stay at. :)

We’re on a road trip and needed a place to stay after visiting Soo Locks. Compared to other places available for our stay in the UP, this was a dream. The room was clean and well kept. Staff were cordial. Great pool for kids to play. Guest laundry available for drying suits and towels.

The rooms were clean and nice. It looks like they may have remodeled the rooms and the main entrance area to the hotel recently. The hallways seem a bit older but still clean. The parking lot is well lit. Front desk staff was very attentive and helpful during check-in. The breakfast was a nice addition with a variety of standard hot/cold breakfast items. The best part is that the hotel is pet-friendly, so I could bring my two dogs along on this trip. There's a nice little dog run outside the side entrance.

At a time when some hotel brands are getting rid of their business centers and hot tubs, Hampton Inn Sault Ste-Marie impresses with a two-computer business center, complete with pens, highlighters, a printer that actually works (looking at you, Fairfield Inn), and even a shredder! Yesssss! And I’ve never seen a bigger hot tub next to such a nice big clean swimming pool! Breakfast was the typical excellent Hampton Inn standard (today featured biscuits and gravy). I’m a big fan, Hampton Inn Sault Ste-Marie!

We usually stay in Mac City but I knew the hotels were not as nice as years ago. We chose this Hampton in St. Ignace. Definitely will return. Good job everyone. The Christmas tree was classy and the Christmas decor was perfect. Not trashy and mismatched. Beautiful hotel. Thanks. Girl at the front desk today was very polite.
